Youth Testimonials

“To be honest, I didn’t really understand it while I was a player. When I look back now, the adults that helped me get to college are still involved in my life and still help mentor me. I was an intern in the visual arts program and its helped me in my pursuit of my music career. I’ve truly been blessed to be a part of the program”

— Jesse N.

“Without the Hope Through Hoops organization, I wouldn’t be where I am today. Their help, allowed my family to focus on the medical bills and health of our family. I was able to travel to events that were important for me to get a college opportunity. Im in college now and am an intern in the operations program.”

— Donavan W.

“Being a minority and a female, I noticed since being in college that there aren’t as many opportunities as there should be for females and minorities. I have learned a lot of valuable skills in the operations and visual arts program with Hope Through Hoops. I am confident that when I graduate, I will bring value in my job.”

— Alexis M.

Parent Testimonials

“The transparency of all involved with this company was a breathe of fresh air. Also knowing that my son would be mentored and taught by men and women with experience, that are relatable is an amazing feeling. He has given back to the kids through camps and has learned how to coach.”

— Tevora T.

“My daughter did not find Hope Through Hoops through playing. She was referred by another parent who thought she may benefit from being involved. So far she has enjoyed her time interning, getting hands on experience while she continues her pursuit of her degree. ”

— Billy M.

“As a single mom of 3, moving here from another country was tough. With the support of some family and the Hope Through Hoops organization, my boys were able to connect with and maintain relationships to this day with positive mentors that help influence their lives in a positive way. We are thankful.”

— NJ N.

From Our Donors

“For our family, we have seen the results of this program. Thats why we have no issues with donating to the cause. Each year we have seen success stories, whether it be kids getting college opportunities, or kids interning and doing what they are passionate about. We will continue donate.
